Numbers game
The new crime drama scheduled to premiere Jan. 7 on CBS is "Numbers." Do not fall into the "copy our logo" trap and style it "NUMB3RS." That's ridiculous.
And while we're on the topic, the 1995 movie by David Fincher was "Seven," despite the logo of "SE7EN."

Then there's the N9NE steakhouse in Las Vegas, which is Nine in my book unless some really good bribes come my way.
And I remember making fun of the "Jackson 5ive" cartoon series when I was just a tyke.
So, it isn't pronounced "Numb three-ers?"
Nor "Se-seven-en," unfortunately. I kinda like how that sounds.
Man, Bill, you're a stickler from way back. I'm trying to come up with some beef I had with "Schoolhouse Rocks" or even "Jem," but I'm drawing blanks.
