And this brings up a related point: How many newspaper Web sites have copy editors writing their headlines? How much thought is put into these headlines? Is there any rim/slot process? And what percentage of a workers' nightly load is headline writing?

I guess it'd be overly technical to point out that Washingtonpost.com is not as closely related to the Washington Post as one might think.
