AP style changes

Doug Fisher, at Common Sense Journalism, has a recap of what's new in the 2005 AP Stylebook. Read his whole entry, but here's a few I haven't talked about much:

backyard: Now one word in all uses, noun and adjective.

child care: Use as two words in all instances, including as an adjective. (But no mention of day care.)

physician assistant: Not physician's.

sync: Short for synchronization, not synch.

voice mail: Two words.

There's a rumor going around that AP has changed its style on Internet and Web site. A new reporter in my newsroom contends she saw something move on the wire that said the style is now internet and website. I can find nothing about this anywhere online. Thoughts? Comments? Proof?
